Revo did not seek out and find the mysterious "webroot spy sweeper w/ antivirus" file I suposably have...?

If webroot spy sweep is not listed in add and remove programs, then Revo is not going to find it. I'm guessing because you don't give much information, That at one time Webroot was on your computer. If you are trying to install another anti-virus program it's telling you that Webroot must be uninstalled. You can get Ccleaner from download.com it's free. Run Ccleaner and run the registry tool in Ccleaner. See if that will clean up the left overs from Webroot. If not you will need to install Webroot again, Then use Revo to remove it. Good luck

Webroot Spy Sweeper with antivirus?

Hi! I have spy sweeper with antivirus for my computer. However I'm runing out of time on it and it wants me to purchase another one from them. Is this what your suppose to do when your time runs out is go buy a new one and throw the other away? Umm is there any way I can get another code without havin to buy another one? Also aprox how high are they? Also Is there anything better than this(free and online) for you computer?

You would be purchasing another year of virus defination updates. With dozens of new malwares being coded and released every day, an anti-malware program without daily updates is useless.
