Final Cut Express

What are the FPS (frames per second) limits with Final Cut Express?

I am considering getting Final Cut Express for editing, but I do a lot of stop motion animation as well. I just want to know if there are any limits to the fps options in Final Cut Express, or if running frames at 24-30 fps would work in this software. Thanks.

I believe you aren't able to do 24fps in Final Cut Express, so I think the lowest you can go is 29.97fps, but hopefully I'm wrong.
