How to transfer music from Itunes to Final Cut Pro?

How do I import a song from itunes or a CD on to Final Cut Pro?

Works best if from a CD…Just use the Finder to drag and drop the file from CD to your hard drive, then drag and drop to the browser in FCP.

If you are importing a compressed song from iTunes, I would recommend converting it to AIFF first using Soundtrack Pro, but you don't have to. FCP can convert it, but you may have to render. Just drag and drop the rendered song file to the browser in FCP.
