I have been offered a job in Bahrain with a monthly salry of BD 1700.How is offer in terms of Bahrain?
Besides there is a annual return ticket to home at Delhi for family, 30 days Pl, a medical insurance, Life insurance worth USD 50,000. Please guide me on the expenditure in terms of housing, foods, buying a 2nd hand car or renting one which ever is possible. I have decent style of living where family and its essentials are important. I spent a little on gadgets or always want to. No partying etc for me. My wife would be joining me. I do not have any kids. Please also guide if there are any other essential expenditures which I have to take care of.
Thank you,
DeBashish Ganguli

Well,. housing is the most costly part of living here, and a good 2 bhk in a decent area would cost you close to 400-500 BD per month.
The remaining expenses are not too high and should all fall within 500-600 BD. A second hand car would be in the range of 3000-4000 BD, but you would need a loan/ office assistance for that.
Considering the deal you have, seems quite a decent offer. Plus, this is tax free, unlike as it is in India.
If the client is in the hospital and suffers from any form of dementia, a private-duty sitter can be hired to sit in the patient's room. Patients with memory problems have a tendency to wander, and pull catheters and IV lines out which makes it very difficult for the nursing staff to protect the client's safety. A sitter is a good option. The client/patient is often unaware that someone is in the room with them. The sitter watches over the patient and assists with bathroom visits and helps with meals. This frees up the nursing staff to take care of the medical portion of the patient's care. For home care during the day, a sitter is an excellent choice. Some will even do light housekeeping.
Finding a caregiver can be a daunting task. First, ask friends and neighbors. Personal companions often find themselves out of work due to a death or the hospitalization of their client. Chicago caregivers should be registered with agencies. Nursing pool agencies have listings for private duty nurses, nurses' aids, sitters and companions. Home care agencies will have listings excluding nurses as a general rule. Nurses are highly skilled and usually register with nursing agencies. They are in high demand and usually work in hospital settings or doctor's offices.
In conclusion, to find a good personal caregiver, contacting a local eldercare or senior care group is the first step. The state where the person resides can can make recommendations to families. They will guide you in making your decision. Most agencies are listed on the internet or in the local phone book. It is then up to you to interview and hire the most qualified person for the job. The family now becomes the employer. Check state licenses and most importantly, get references and do a background check.
If the client is an elderly person wanting to remain in their home, a companion is a wonderful option. A companion will take the client shopping and to doctor visits. Chicago companions do not live with the client. This is a form of at-home elderly care, but also is an option for a handicapped individual who wishes to live independently. A companion should be friendly, personable and caring.
