If you have ever watched a child sound out words, then it is easy to see just how tedious it can be when your mind does the same thing. While you may actually be reading much faster now, there is still need to eliminate subvocalization. Even changing this one bad habit will result in average reading speed doubling, if not tripling. In addition, when you eliminate subvocalization, there will be more time to think about and formulate your answers to any given problem. This, in turn, can make it easier to start a new career, or advance in the one you have now. Regardless of your future goals, being able to do this should be one of your primary building blocks. Learning how to eliminate subvocalization is as easy as buying one simple computer program that will retrain all of your bad reading habits.

When employees are stuck in an entry level job for too many years, it is a good indicator that something is wrong. Typically, supervisors and co-workers will not want to come right out and say that you appear to be slow witted. That said, if employees do not eliminate subvocalization, the amount of time that it takes to read something can create a very negative effect all around. Consider a situation where you ask someone for an answer based on written materials. If they take too long, nervous feelings will develop. This is exactly what happens to others when you do not get rid of this habit.

Today, being able to eliminate subvocalization will help a worker achieve the following goals:

• Appear more intelligent and responsive when co-workers and supervisors ask you to evaluate written information.
• Prevent long gaps in conversations that should be filled with responses and answers.
• Take part in meetings without staying stuck on page one of the agenda.

If you take the time to learn speed reading skills like eliminating subvocalization, then you will find that your career opportunities increase by an incredible amount. You'll get more done at work, and have people fighting to give you a new opportunity.

Personally, I do not think the fundamentals of photography can be learned in 5 days. It doesn't matter how much you pay, it is no guarantee that you will learn & retain everything by the end of the course. I believe the better investment is the dummy book -- assuming that you are actually dedicated enough to really read it. Basics like aperture (ex: the f/2.8 that you are referring to), iso, focus modes, etc, can even be learned for free from your camera's manual &/or other free internet resource sites. Just google something related to "digital photography basics", & "photography how to", & "photography beginner's guide." I can't recommend an individual site, as I do not know what else you are looking to learn beyond the basics of photography.

Another longer term option is to take a community college course, which is great because you will get structured guidance, as well as some pressure to actually read & produce work for a much cheaper price.

Either route will cost next to nothing vs. £600, which means that you can still resort to taking a course should all else fail (or if you are still interested in taking the course at a later date). On a side note, I have attended a couple different seminar courses & have a thought on them. If they have sponsors (ex: Nikon, Adobe, etc.) be aware that naturally they will also be pushing some propaganda -- making you feel that better or more equipment, software, etc is also needed for better pictures. While this could possibly be true, be aware that for 9 out of 10 beginners, understanding the basics is really what is needed.

Bottomline, attend the course if that is the only way that you will learn the fundamentals. If you are able to learn from a book or community college, go that route & save yourself the money (for now). Once you know the basics & know what types of photography you desire to do, you'll have that extra money to help purchase your needed equipment! Good luck with whatever route you choose.

Ventriloquism is an old art and there are signs of its existence since the time of 500BC. Maybe you would like to try this: Whilst facing a mirror with your lips semi-closed, just one-eighth of an inch open, keep your jaw rigid and say the letter "A".

Keep your teeth closed or a little separated but not too much. You will see that you will be able to say not only "A" but also all the vowels. I am sure you will find that you can do this without any trouble at all. However, when you try to say the letter "B" you can see that is a lot trickier.

I would like to be a video game tester but I heard you have to be 16 or older to be a professional video game tester but I want to give it a shot and see what happens so do you know any companies that I should try to see if they will hire me?

None really. There are too many child labor laws and game testing, let alone video games in general, is addicting. At that age they advise you to focus more on your education. It's easier to just wait until you're 16 and work for Gamestop or something. At least that way you get a discount and first dibs lol.

Over the past few months, much of the talk in the video game industry has surrounded Sony and its rumored PlayStation 3 Slim. The product, if it exists, promises to be smaller and, more importantly, cheaper.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm excited about the possibility of the Slim hitting store shelves. I've called on Sony multiple times to drop the price of the PlayStation 3. I believe that it's the key to Sony staying relevant during this generation of game consoles.

But as the PS3 Slim kept us guessing, a report hit the Web on Wednesday claiming that Microsoft might be planning to ditch the Xbox 360 Pro in favor of offering just two Xbox 360 models--the Arcade and the Elite. Great. But what about a refresh?

The Xbox 360 is a beast. It's huge. Its DVD drive is extremely loud. And its power supply is both big and heavy.

The Xbox 360 is also not nearly as reliable as competing products. Since its release, we've been inundated with story after story about the "red ring of death"--an issue that occurs when three red rings around the Xbox 360's power buttons start flashing, indicating that the console is inoperable and will need to be shipped back to Microsoft to have it fixed.

The number of reported RROD instances has dropped in recent months, but it has left Microsoft with a black eye from which it has yet to recover.

So as Sony improves its hardware offerings, I think that it's clear that Microsoft needs to do the same. It needs a slim Xbox 360.

Why it's necessary

I think that a slim Xbox 360 would help solve almost all of Microsoft's problems. It would potentially fit nicely into existing home theater set-ups. If it lived up to its name, the Slim would also ditch the power brick. Its new power supply would be smaller and much more manageable. Those two updates alone would make many current Xbox 360 owners happy.

But it goes beyond that. A slim Xbox 360 can be Microsoft's "do-over." It will address the issues the console has experienced, like that awfully loud DVD drive. It will also fix the Xbox 360's failure issues that just don't seem to go away. More importantly, it could address one of the console's biggest shortcomings: a lack of an HD drive.

Yes, I believe that a slim Xbox 360 should feature a Blu-ray drive. I know that it would be like giving money to the enemy, format backer Sony, but given Blu-ray's rise in popularity this year, I don't think that Microsoft has much of a choice. Until streaming HD content has reached critical mass and entered millions of homes, Blu-ray is still the leading, next-gen home entertainment format.

Although we can currently access streaming content through the Xbox 360, it's not enough. A Blu-ray drive allows Microsoft to fend off Sony's core argument, which states that because the PlayStation 3 has a Blu-ray drive, it's worth its $400 price tag. It's a valid argument. It's also an argument to which Microsoft, without a Blu-ray drive in its Xbox 360, doesn't have an answer. That's unacceptable.

Looking ahead

At this point, I have no doubt that Sony will be releasing the PS3 Slim sometime in the near future. It makes perfect sense for the company, since it's trying desperately to regain lost market share.

Microsoft should follow suit. The Xbox 360 is a great console. I enjoy playing games on it. But it's not perfect. It's in desperate need of a refresh. And a slim Xbox 360 might just be the way to make more consumers happy. More importantly, it could help Microsoft fend off Sony's rise in the market if a PS3 Slim is released.

The appeal of a fantasy game for many players is casting powerful magical spells. Runescape gives players the option of using divine magic and rune magic.

Any fantasy RPG would not be the same without some form of magic. Runescape is no exception to this rule. A Runescape character who wishes to harness the arcane energies that fuel the magic of the world must collect and gather runes.

Offensive and teleportation magic is cast by using using rune combinations. This differs from prayer magic, which is a set list of abilities that a character knows. Many Runescape runes can be made by players with the Runecrafting skill, although the runes neccessary for magic can spells also be purchased or found on monsters.

What Magic Spells can a Runescape Character Cast?
Because there are many possible combinations of runes that can produce a magic spell in Runescape, a comprehensive list of them is not possible. The Runescape client lets a player know if he has the required runes to cast a spell. If a character has the runes for a magic spell, he can click on the appropriate icon to cast it. The required runes are then consume. A brief list of Runescape magic spells available to free Runescape players is found below.

Air Strike – 1 Air, 1 Mind
Confuse – 3 Water, 2 Earth, 1 Body
Water Strike -- 1 Water, 1 Air, 1 Mind
Enchant Jewelry – 1 Water, 1 Cosmic
Weaken – 3 Water, 2 Earth 1 Body
Fire Strike – 2 Air, 3 Fire, 1 Mind
Bones to Bananas -- 2 Earth, 2 Water 1 Nature
Wind Bolt – 2 Air, 1 Chaos
Should a Character Pay for Runes for his Magic Spells?

If a Runescape character wishes to play a mighty wizard, runes can help the character further that goal, but using magic it is not the only path to fame and glory in the popular free mmorpg. Runescape characters can use many combat skills, including ranged skills and many skills related to melee weapons.

Joining the mage's guild can reduce the cost of runesbought off of merchants, but it is not necessary for a Runescape player to dedicate himself to one specific skill, A full list of the magic spells available to Runescape characters, including to paid members can be found on the Global Runescape and the Runescape Tips web sites.

Runescape Magic at Its Best and Worst
The magical system of Runescape is more flexible than it is in many other mmorpgs that lock a character into one class at creation and the abilities the character learns are based on that initial choice, but every magic spell in Runescape requires components.

Even if a player takes up the trade skill that lets him make the material needed to power his arcane efforts, he will eventually run out of runes and have to rely on another combat skill. This means that a Runescape character should be a little more well rounded than the offerings a person would find in many of the commercial mmorpgs.

Most people instantly think of money as the first thing that they would like to learn how to attract with the law of attraction,  ut you can also learn how to attract love as well.  The law of attraction tells us that whatever we focus our mind and our energy on,  then that is what we will attract more of in our life good or bad.  And it also reinforces the idea that you have to first give in order to receive as well.

So,  how can you use the law of attraction to attract love?

First take a look at whatever possible limting beliefs that you may carry around with you in regards to love and relationships in general.  Are there ideas or opinions that you may have that are blocking you from receiving what it is that you really want.

Many times we will hold on to these beliefs although we know on some level that they are wrong or that they are what is preventing us from attracting and manifesting the things that we really want.  And if you continue to hold on to these ideas, beliefs,  and thoughts,  then you are going to repel the very thing that you want to attract.

So this is a good starting block for you to begin on your quest to attract the things that you desire most.

You can learn how to manifest just about anything in your life that you would like to with the conscious use of the law of attraction.  And that does include learning how to attract love as well.
